Edinburgh mystery over bloodied Pringle Norman Harris at MurrayfieldMonday
December 12, 2005 The Guardian

The Edinburgh lock Fergus Pringle was taken to hospital following an "accident" before Saturday's Heineken Cup match against Toulouse. The bloodied player may have suffered the damage in the dressing room, although the club would give no further details yesterday.
Pringle, who was listed on the team-sheet as taking his place in the Edinburgh starting line-up, was seen, his face covered in blood, running away from the stadium across Murrayfield's back pitches. It seems he was persuaded to return to the ground and receive treatment from the team's medical staff. He was then taken to Edinburgh Royal Infirmary and later discharged.
